Although we enjoyed life in the South, loved our home, and made wonderful friends, by November we accepted that our home in Minnesota was just not going to sell anytime soon. With the market being very strong in Owasso, we decided to sell our home in Oklahoma and move back to our home in Minnesota. So, by December I was back to working with the Mankato School District as an Assessment Specialist with the Special Education Department, Alexis went back to school with her friends, and Logan started daycare/preschool at Jesus Loves Me Learning Center. Jadee stayed in Oklahoma until just 3 weeks ago in late March. It was a rough 3 months, but somehow we made it and we are all back together again as a family.
The week before Jadee moved home, our house in Oklahoma sold. Everything really just fell into place and in some odd way, Jadee and I feel like everything was just meant to be. Even though it wasn't part of our original plan with returning to Minnesota, Jadee quit his job and accepted a new job with Kraft Foods as a Human Resource Manager. He started April 1st and is very pleased with his decision. Lucky for us, they even moved our things back!
In the 3 weeks that Jadee has been home, we have nearly painted our entire main floor. We have yet to finish our master bedroom, the main bathroom, and our laundry room. We also painted the study downstairs, which used to be our toyroom. The changes are very exciting and it's nice to be "home." We are settling very quickly into our lives again.
