Summer Fun 2008

It's been awhile since I have updated our blog. The kids really enjoyed the summer months. We all got really tan as we spent a lot of time outdoors and at the pool. In July, Alexis and Logan both did private swimming lesson again. They always learn so much and it amazes me how well they both can swim.

Alexis spent much time hanging out with mom and with her friends. She also attended summer dance classes and Horse Camp. At camp, she learned how to trot, gallop, and run. She was thrilled to be able to ride a horse all by herself. Her horses name was Candy and Alexis brought her an apple and carrots everyday.

Logan was a fish this summer and spent a lot of time swimming at Spring Lake Park. He attended Jesus Loves Me 2-3 days per week and spent the rest of his time at home with mom and his sister. The highlight of Logan's summer was going camping at Camp Dells. He loved sleeping in the tent and riding on the Pontoon.

Although we did not do any destination vacations this summer, we did enjoy spending time together as a family. We took the kids to Seven Mile Creek for a picnic lunch and to hike the trails. We also went to the Mall of America for a day of fun on the rides. The kids had a blast and Alexis got to ride her first "big" roller coaster.
