Baby Jace

Jace Anton Kubesh was born on Monday, June 8, 2009 at 3:56 p.m. He came into the world ready to take it on at 9 pounds, 12.8 ounces and 22.5 inches long. Labor and delivery was truly amazing with Jace and different than what I expected. Thanks to an epidural, Jadee and I were able to relax and enjoy the experience without the discomfort of painful contractions. The actual delivery was brief, as Jace was out in just 11 contractions. The most memorable part of the experience was doing the "Kangaroo Care" immediately after delivery because Jace was placed on my chest right away and he was able to stay there for about an hour. I loved every moment of our first minutes together! Like every baby, Jace is truly a miracle. Our hearts are overjoyed and our prayers have been answered.
