Family Ties

Meet my mom, Pat, and my sister, Amanda. Most of you know that these two women are very important in my life, but for those of you who didn't...you know now. My mother is pretty amazing. She has always strived to please others and to be the best mom possible. Now that we are all grown up and have children of our own, she takes pride in being a wonderful grandma to her 6 grandchildren. Just like she has always been there for me through the ups and the downs, I know she will be there for my children too. Thanks mom for spending many of your Fridays off with me this summer. You have been a BIG help!

Although my sister is my polar opposite in many ways (mostly looks), she is like my twin in many more ways. We often know what the other is thinking, we know what brings each other happiness, and we can tell when the other is feeling down. We know when to give support, when to turn the other way, and when a pedicure (a.k.a. girl time) is in need. I don't know what I would do without my sister. Thanks Manda for living near me, coming over when I need you, helping with the kids, and listening when I need to talk (and talk). You're the best sister ever!
