Another Monday...the weekends just go too fast. I'm already looking forward to the next one, which sure does make for a long work week. Alexis and I have next Monday off from school though, so I'm looking forward to that.
This weekend we solved one of our great debates. We have decided to move Alexis's room downstairs and to have the baby on the main level. Jadee spent all day Saturday painting the spare bedroom pink. It was so nice to have an excuse not to paint this time...and he did a beautiful job.
Alexis is very excited about her new bedroom and since she realizes that we are making it a very special place for her, like her room now, she seems to be warming up to the idea of being downstairs. We are planning to make the transition some time in March so we can start working on the nursery then.
On Sunday, my parents came to Mankato to make their rounds with the grandkids. They come about every 2-3 weeks to shop and see Alexis, Logan, and my niece Emma. Last time they were here, my mom attended my Lia Sophia Jewelry party and then she and my dad watched the kids so Jadee and I could go out for dinner. This weekend they came to deliver Valentine's Day gifts. The kids were excited to get new shirts and I was excited to get a new a sleeper for the baby.
Well, the clock is ticking and I suppose I better start my Monday. Have a great week!
