Surprise!
My wonderful husband threw me a surprise party at my favorite restaurant, The Neighbors, to celebrate my 30th birthday. It was a celebration I will never forget! The event began with Jadee sending me on a scavenger hunt, which treated me to a manicure, coffee at Panera, a dozen roses, and a box of chocolates. What more could I ask for, right? Well, there was definitely more! As planned, we went our for dinner with friends...but to my surprise, not only did we have dinner with the other couple we planned to meet, we had dinner with a roomful of friends and family members. I was completely shocked and overwhelmed with disbelief. Friends and family traveled from near and far to be with me on this special day. Thank you to my husband for showering me with your love on my birthday and for planning such a wonderful celebration, thank you to my family and friends for being the wonderful people you are and for being such an important part of my life, thank you to those who traveled through the winter storm to celebrate with me, and thank you to those who could not make it but were with me in spirit.

Here's a sneak peak at some of Emma's 12 month pictures I took. We celebrated her birthday on Saturday afternoon. She was not feeling well but enjoyed her day...especially her first birthday cake! In just the last couple of weeks, she has started walking everywhere. Where did the last year go? She has grown too fast!

Alexis Turned 8 Years Old
We celebrated Alexis's birthday all week long. It started Friday night while I was out celebrating my 30th. Jadee's parents stopped by our house on their way out of town to bring Alexis her birthday gifts. They also brought her a birthday cake. After Emma's party on Saturday, we all went bowling at the WOW Zone in celebration of Alexis's birthday. The kids had a blast and us adults had a good time too. On Monday, Jadee and I took the kids to Alexis's favorite restaurant, Dino's Pizzeria, for her actual birthday. We surprised her with flowers and a balloon. This last Friday night, Alexis had a sleepover with a few friends. They had fun playing Dance, Dance, Revolution on the Wii and watching High School Musical 3.

We are so glad you had a wonderful day. It was alot of fun and was great to see all of you. This pictures are great! Could you e-mail some of the ones we're in and I'll do the same for the ones I took.
