Celebrate!

February is always a month of celebrations for our family...my brother's birthday, Valentine's Day, my niece's birthday, my birthday, Alexis's birthday, and Jadee's dad's birthday.  Actually, many friends of ours also have February birthdays, so we are often on the road to birthday parties throughout the entire month.  I love February!

This year, we spent the weekend of February 19th-21st celebrating Emma's 2nd birthday on Saturday afternoon.  She loves Dora, so of course it was a Dora Adventure party!  Later that night, Jadee and I went out with Amanda and Nick to celebrate my birthday.  We had a good time at the Tav on the Ave while my parents spent the night with the kids.  Sunday morning, my parents took Alexis and I out for a birthday breakfast at Baker's Square.  I think it's the first time I have ever had pie right after my eggs and bacon!  Alexis opted for a Sunday instead.  As usual, we had a great time together!

In addition to celebrating birthdays, we also celebrated Jadee's recent promotion at Kraft Foods.  He is now the Associate Human Resources Manager, which is a very big move for him.  It also guarantee's us at least two more years in Mankato...but after that we will need to plan a move (which I am actually pretty excited about).  Way to go Jadee!  I couldn't be more proud of you!
