Harper (4 Months)
Continues to sleep and eat like a champ. Healthy. No illnesses to date. Smiley and mom's biggest fan. Loves to ride forward facing in the Bjorn with dad. Not a good car-rider (still). Learning to play on the floor but not really liking it, which means not rolling yet. Obsessed with hands.
Harper (5 Months)
Attending daycare at least 2 times per week on a regular basis while mom is busy with pictures and planning the interior construction of the studio. Cereal is gross...and breastmilk is YUMMY. No interest in rolling. Still not a fan of the carseat. Obsessed with sucking on fingers.
Harper (6 Months)
Having fun at daycare while mom is back at work, full-time. Fruits and vegetables are YUMMY...but breastmilk is the BEST. Loves to nurse (even on a full tummy) when picked up from daycare. Secretly rolling from tummy to back at daycare and in her crib. Mom and dad still have not witnessed this to date. Babbling and saying "da-da." Drooling buckets, but no teeth. Loves to snuggle.
Jace
Loves going to Deb's daycare and is the only one who can get away with calling her "Debbie." Nearly every morning he yells from his crib, "Mom, Deb, I need Debbie!" Loves Harper, but refuses to hold her. He's a go-getter and always on the move. Jace is very talented in the area of gross motor skills and we are pretty sure he will excel in sports. Overnight, he has grown from a baby, to a toddler, to a little man :) He is still sweet as ever and loves to "sungle" (snuggle) and read books. Even though Jace is sweet, however, he is still "two" and he reminds us of that regularly. Recently threw away his pacifiers all on his own because he was mad at them...on a side note, he bit holes in them and after I bought new ones he did the same thing within 5 minutes, so the next day he threw them away. He is officially a big boy now, so on to potty training next :)
Logan
Loves school this year and LOVES his teacher...we all do. Mr. Miller is the best and he would definitely have our vote for TEACHER OF THE YEAR! Logan excels in math and is working hard in reading to increase his fluency. Hockey started in October and it's definitely his thing. We are so proud of him!
Alexis
Enjoying her last year at Eagle Lake Elementary as a 5th grader. LOVES her teacher...and again, so do we. Decided to take a break from dance and competitions this year and instead doing gymnastics at K & G. Alexis is a big help to me with the little ones. It's nice to be able to leave her in charge once in awhile when they are napping or when Jace wants to play outside when I am busy indoors.
The above pictures of Alexis, Logan, & Jace were taken by my long time friend, who is also a FABULOUS photographer and the owner of Gretchen Ennis Photography & Design in Pillager, MN. She was kind of enough to take family photos of us when we visited and gave me the RAW images to do my own editing. And even though I did my own editing...they needed very little done to them because they were fabulous already :) This is a just sneak peek too, because I saved my absolute favorites for our Christmas card. Sure wish we lived closer so we could be in business together...I'm definitely jealous of all the
a-m-a-z-i-n-g places in the area for outdoor pictures.
