17 Week Check-Up

On December 29th, I went in for my monthly check-up. Alexis and Logan also came with. They thought it was so neat to hear the baby's heartbeat at 142 beats per minute. She/he continues to have a strong, fast heart beat. My measurements and weight gain are looking good...although I gained more than the last time so I was feeling a little guilty for eating too many holiday treats. My doctor assured me though that my overall gain is consistent and right on target. Whew! In the next couple of weeks, I am scheduled for a mid-term ultrasound to measure the baby and to see her/his overall growth. We are looking very forward to this!
