Christmas Concerts

Alexis and Logan sang in their annual Christmas concerts this December. We were so proud of them! Alexis sang three songs with her classmates and then was chosen to sing as part of a trio during the finale at the end of the performance. She sang with two of her best friends, Hannah and Megan. Needless to say, it brought tears to my eyes because the girls were just so amazing...and I was so proud to see my little girl up there singing in front of all the parents and grandparents. Logan sang several songs with the all of his classmates at Jesus Loves Me. We were so proud of him too! We weren't sure what to expect at this concert because in the past he has stood in front of the crowd like a "deer in headlights," hardly moving his lips. Much to our surprise, he sang every single song this time. Leading up to the event, we would hear him practicing his songs around the house, while in the bath tub, and he would even sing himself to sleep at night. I think this was a pretty important event to him this year...so important that he insisted I attend both concerts.
