Minnesota Winters

Meet Darth Vader and Princess Leia! The winter months are feeling long here in Minnesota and with the recent snow and below zero wind chills, the kids have been using their imaginations and showing their creative sides.

Logan got a light saver for Christmas and he has since been dueling it out as Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker. Alexis, of course, plays right into it because she loves to be a princess. It is so funny to watch them, as they have been dressing up and presenting us with nightly shows of sword fighting and singing.

Today, the kids and I were thrilled to have a half snow day...I guess that's one good thing about snow and living in Minnesota. I was able to take a nap and veg on the couch much of the day while the kids colored, played, and watched movies. It was a day of much needed rest for me and fun for the kids.
