Happy Friday!

Happy Friday!!!  I am so glad this week is over and am ready to celebrate...and rest and relax, too.  This weekend we are busy with hockey, as Logan has his last practice on Saturday and then the Jamboree on Sunday when he gets to show off his skills and get a participation medal.  Then the kids and myself are off from school/work for an entire week for spring break (yippee)! 

Jadee is going to work Monday and then he is taking a couple of days off so we can head to the cities for some fun.  We plan to surprise the kids with a stay at the Grand Rios Waterpark Hotel.  Being pregnant and due in just 6 weeks or so, it's the best we can do for a vacation this year.  I am looking forward to relaxing while my fish go swimming.  Although...the last time we went, I wasn't pregnant and was quite exhausted chasing an almost one-year around the kitty pool area.  This time, I'm sure I will be chasing a wild, pike-level swimmer all over as Jace loves the water even more now that he has had some practice in the bathtub.

The rest of next week will be spent finishing up my to-do list.  I have a few cupboards and closets yet to clean and the rest of the baby room to finish.  The new mattress arrived and I am happy to report there are no tears in it this time.  During some spare time I had during conferences, I made some super cute letters for her room and then this morning, I dropped the bedskirt off to be tailored...thank you Vicki!  I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of some custom art-work I ordered to match her bedding and am hoping that will arrive soon.  Then, I think I will finally be done...for a few weeks anyway.  I am leaving the empty space over her crib for a special surprise (pictures to come). 

Well, we are all very excited about the melting snow around here and are anxious about the arrival of spring.  Can't wait for the warm weather to stay put!
