2 Years Old

Jace turned two years old today...and it was a FAST two years!  It seems he was just a baby and when I blinked, he grew into a toddler.  Since having Harper, I swear Jace has grown several inches and even gained a few pounds.

At two years old, Jace continues to be obsessed with balloons and balls and with carrying around any fun toy or object in general.  Every single day, he brings at least one ball (if not three) to daycare.  Although I have had some concern about this, the doctor assures me that it's a phase.  Some kids are attached to blankets and others to dolls...Jace is attached to anything that bounces.  His vocabulary is tremendous and he says anything and everything.  He frequently talks about Logan (Wogan) and repeats us telling Annie to go lay on her pillow (which sounds like, "Annie is a poh-woh").  He also talks a lot about trucks, but if you overheard a conversation you would be convinced we taught him the naughty 4-letter word ;)  Jace is a picky eater and it's obvious when he is ready for a nap...but he continues to be the BEST sleeper ever and it's not unusual for him to bring me his blanket and say "night, night" when he is wanting a nap or to go to bed.  Overall, Jace is pretty routine and very easy-going.  He's a lover and is very fond of his daddy, mommy, grandma (am-ah), grandpa (papa), and Emma (um-ah).  Whenever Jadee leaves, that is the one time that Jace will throw an absolute fit.  He wants to go everywhere his daddy goes. 

On another note, he is doing much better with Harper and I think he has accepted her as a permanent member of the family.  Although he doesn't have much to do with her still, he does talk about her a lot.  He will also bring her a nuk when she is crying and give her hugs or kisses from time to time.
